The organizing committee the XIXth International Gnostic Congress of Anthropology holds a contest for all Gnostic instructors of the World who wish to cooperate in this great event.
To take part as a lecturer at the Congress, the conditions to be fulfilled are the following:
2º. Present a piece of research (that will be exposed in form of a spoken or audiovisual lecture, or both at a time) in accordance with Gnostic teaching passed on by V. M. Samael Aun Weor.
3º. For a matter of time, the lecture will have a maximum duration of “one hour”, this is the reason why we do ask that the proposed subjects fit this duration.
Congresses renew forces which are necessary for this development to rise to higher octaves.
The quality of this renewal partly depends on the research work presented during the Congress.
During the last years of his life, Master Samael used to say that the Gnostic must put an end to the “stereotype sickness”, i.e. the mechanical tendency of becoming tired of the ancient and old fashioned way of doing.
This is why we suggest that instructors who contest sharpen their imagination and inspiration faculties in order to develop real research themes that may bring strength and light to the participants at the Congress.
Why are Gnostic audiovisual lectures necessary?:
¿Por qué las presentaciones audiovisuales gnósticas son necesarias?:
1º.- Normally, we remember only about 10% of what we hear; however, of what we both see and hear, we remember about 50%. This will be possible thanks to the audiovisual aids that will be used in our institutions.
2º.- Actually, in reality, we are used to perceive information visually. The generations of today have grown up with the influence of TV, cinema, books, cameras... finally, with all kinds of visual stimulations that lead to fascination. Thus, Gnostic audiovisual lectures will lead to check our lectures and to maintain the attention of our audience, would there be two people or thousands.
3º.- Percentages undoubtedly confirm what we are saying. We can motivate an audience with discussions and lectures but approximately 90% of what we say is forgotten or wrongly interpreted by the Ego. However, by means of audiovisual lectures, what is remembered can be increased from 10% to 50%.
4º.- Thanks to audiovisual aids, Gnostics will be able to organize their lectures in a more objective and real way, and in a format that will clearly lead us toward concrete solutions and more realistic lectures…

Presentation and selection dates:
- SEPTEMBER 2008: before this date, those who are interested in participating to the contest must let the organizing committee know the personal information as listed above and send a short outline of the lecture.
- OCTOBER 2008: candidates will be informed about the result of the pre-selection.
- FEBRUARY 2008: the pre-selected candidates are to send more detailed and complete information about the lecture (text, presentation, images, etc.).
- JUNE 2009: Final selection of themes presented at the contest. The program of the artistic activities of the Congress will be established.
