
Artistic activities contest

The organizing committee of the XIXth International Gnostic Congress of Anthropology, Egypt 2009, invites all students of the Gnostic Institute of Anthropology to cooperate in this great event realizing an artistic activity. The only request is that the activity to be shown has a good quality level and meets the features of the Objective Art, proper to the Gnostic Knowledge

The aim of your participation
Objective Art holds in our teaching a very important place. Used from time immemorial in all past cultures, its aim has always been to activate in man the Superior Emotional Centre in order to transmit him transcendental teachings. The purpose of the artistic activities during the Gnostic Congress in Egypt is not to merely fill a gap between various lectures but to try to revive this long since forgotten Art and to reach the heart of the whole audience so that the sublime feelings of the Being rise to the surface.

Suggestion
There are a lot of possibilities for the artistic activities that may be realized either in a group or individually, for example: - Performance of plays, tales, legends, Egyptian myths, etc. - Classic, folkloric or religious songs and dances. - Concerts with musical instruments. - Poetry declamation, etc. The most important is to put aside laziness and all kinds of psychological fears: insecurity, doubts, lack of confidence in oneself, prejudices, etc. and start to develop creative imagination and inspiration.

Information to be sent for the presentation:
- Name and surname of the participants. - Complete address. - Telephone number. - E-mail address. - State within the institution (instructors, students, sympathizers). - Centre of belonging (town and country). - Type of artistic performance: poetry, song, theatre, musical interpretation, etc. - Explanatory plan of the activity, mentioning its duration and the number of people who will take part. - Equipment necessary for the performance (technical staff, etc.)

Presentation and selection dates:
- SEPTEMBER 2008: before this date, those who are interested in participating to the contest must let the organizing committee know the personal information as listed above and send a short outline of the proposed artistic activity. - OCTOBER 2008: candidates will be informed about the result of the pre-selection. - FEBRUARY 2009: the pre-selected candidates are to send more detailed and complete information about the artistic performance (scenarios, videos, etc.). - JUNE 2009: Final selection of themes participating to the contest. The program of the artistic activities of the Congress will be established.
